Royal Delle Park - Another Peaceful Springfield Park

Ok, Royal Delle is beautiful. Secret garden vibes. The main entrance pops up quick and it's easy to miss but there is great street parking, again, no sidewalks in this neighborhood which feels a bit awkward for parking but the lots are large and spread out so it doesn't feel like you're parked directly in front of someone's front door. This neighborhood is lovely. Dubbed the Royal Delle Estates by the developers in the 1960s. Hence, the park name. It's definitely off the beaten path. Which we tend to love.

Most favorite Lion Backpack- copycat. . Always sand toys in tow! We got ours at Costco and man, is it hard to find a good set with a wagon. Here's a cool alternative. . Check out this Great waterproof adventuring backpack! These pics show main park entry, and walking into the park.

The way to enter the park has this secret garden vibe. The first time we went it was really cool walking in and I was blown away at what we found down this kind of inconspicuous entry path. A beautifully curated, three acres of space nestled in the Hayden Bridge area.

I think the layout and design of this park is really nice. We've visited many times and hosted our Meet-Ups here a time or two. I hear there's even a donation based yoga in this park sometimes! It's usually quite. Sometimes a day care class visits. Friendly people walk their dogs. It feels safe, clean, calm. I really like it. Plus, it offers great shaded areas.

The way this park is positioned, nestled behind homes and set well off the street with only the two long and fairly far from the play structure points of entry adds to the relaxed vibe here. You know your babes can't easily or quickly escape and there's no reason for anyone to be here who didn't come specifically to enjoy the park. It's got lots of wide open, flat, grassy areas plus a great, mostly paved, and accessible walking path. There's benches, picnic tables, trash cans and doggy bags.

The sand pit is huge, often times shaded 🌳and has a fun play feature. No water here and no bathrooms. 😭 Because the sand pit is shaded by mature trees it can easily accumulate leaves and such but always seems very clean otherwise. There's a half basketball court 🏀 with non adjustable hoop just past the sand pit.

Play Structure designed for 5-12. Only Springfield park with a tunnel like this!

The play structure is built for ages 5-12 but it's small and fun even for my 2 year old. It's the only Springfield park with this cool climbing tunnel which my kids love! It's also got baby swings, big kid swings, fireman's pole, rock wall, small spinner and mulch ground cover. It's a bummer the play ground itself gets no shade.

These kids and their kicks, I am telling you!!!! Vans all day. Cute shoes buddies at this Meet-Up. Her mama told me the blue and white ones were a father's day gift- Daddy and the kids have matching shoes! What a cute idea! These freaking adorable tiger Vans were part of a collab they did with Discovery to raise awareness for Project CAT 🐅 (Conserving Acres for Tigers). Vans and Discovery dontaed $20,000 jointly to the cause. You can't get these bad boys anymore unless you find um on ebay or Posh Mark or were lucky enough to have received them as a hand me down 🙌 .

Are there cooler kicks than VANS? Friends on the spinner. Babe in the baby swing. He was teething at this time and is holding one the best tethers I've found!!!

Royal Delle Park is located North or the 126 in the Hayden Bridge area of Springfield between Hayden Bridge Way and the McKenzie River. It's just off the Pioneer Parkway Traffic Circle. Park hop and visit Robin Park and Pacific Park in the SAME DAY! I Dare you!
